What does rekeying actually do?
We open the lock and swap the internal pins for a new set matched to a brand new key. Your locks and doors stay exactly where they are. Every old key in circulation stops working the moment we finish.
Should I rekey or replace my locks?
If the hardware is solid, rekeying is the simpler job. One customer put it well: the locksmith could have pushed a full replacement but fixed what was already there instead. We will tell you honestly which one your doors need.
How fast can you get to me for a lockout?
Call (949) 428-5625 and we will give you a straight arrival window. One recent customer was back on the road 25 minutes after calling. Traffic and distance decide the rest.
